SAI Academy is proud to announce former United States Men’s National Team standout Gyasi Zardes as the commencement speaker for the 2026 Graduation Ceremony.

The ceremony will take place on June 9, 2026, at 6:30 PM at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas.

Zardes brings a unique connection to SAI Academy, having previously been a student at SAI’s Austin FC Cohort. His journey through American soccer, both on and off the field, makes him an inspiring figure for SAI’s graduating class of student-athletes.

Zardes enjoyed one of the most accomplished careers of his generation in Major League Soccer. Across his MLS career with LA Galaxy, Columbus Crew, Colorado Rapids, and Austin FC, he scored 106 career MLS goals and established himself as one of the league’s most respected forwards.

On the international stage, Zardes earned 68 caps with the United States Men’s National Team, scoring 14 goals while representing his country in some of the game’s biggest competitions.

The 2026 commencement ceremony at Q2 Stadium will celebrate another graduating class of SAI student-athletes preparing to take the next step in their journeys across collegiate, professional, and international opportunities.
