As the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off, the entire SAI Academy community is rallying behind one of our own.

2023 SAI Academy graduate Alex Freeman has been named to the United States Men’s National Team roster and is set to represent his country on the biggest stage in world soccer.

Alex’s journey from SAI Academy to the World Cup has been nothing short of remarkable. After earning 15 caps with the USMNT, he made a club-record move from Orlando City SC to Villarreal CF earlier this year, continuing his rapid rise in the global game.

Now, he’ll have the opportunity to compete in front of the world as the United States begins its World Cup campaign.

Group Stage

• USA vs. Paraguay — June 12, 9:00 PM EST – Los Angeles Stadium, Inglewood, California
• USA vs. Australia — June 19, 3:00 PM EST – Seattle Stadium, Seattle, Washington
• USA vs. Türkiye — June 25, 10:00 PM EST – Los Angeles Stadium, Inglewood, California
